The last cigar that I wanted to highlight in the group of cigars from Crux Cigars is the Skeeterz, what they kindly call on their website “Just a Little Prick”. And rightly so, this cigar is small; it could technically be considered a cigarillo in size. This is typically not a vitola of cigar that I would smoke but I wanted to give it some consideration.

Minus a chip in the foot of the cigar, I found no construction issues. I also couldn’t detect any pre-light notes. My first draws, easy and open, were met with dull pepper, mild to medium in body. Besides the dull pepper notes, I really couldn’t detect any other flavors and the cigar stayed at this flavor profile for its 22 minute duration.

By-The-Numbers
Prelight: 1.5/2
Construction: 1.5/2
Flavor: 3.5/5
Value: 1/1
Total: 7.5/10

While this cigar is typically not going to be one that I would normally reach for because of the milder flavors (a maduro version of the Skeeterz would be interesting…), I would consider the Skeeterz for when I need a really quick cigar in a short amount of time. I would also consider the Skeeterz for when I have friends over that are not cigar smokers but would like to enjoy one without the “long” smoking time.

As always, thank you very much for reading and I look forward to the next time I can share my thoughts with you.

Thanks Jon. I really need to get my hands on these and the other Crux cigars. This particular version would be a great quick cigar and yes, one to share!

Another nice review…again. Looks like it might be worth trying but not a regular. Always enjoy having some of these sized cigars on hand for a quick cup of coffee or as you said for people who aren’t regulars. Enjoy the weekend.

I’m always looking for Short smokes at a good price, one thing I hate is spending more coin then I want to on a stick that has a short smoking time.
